Jewish Community to observe Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur

The Jewish Community of Kaua’i has scheduled Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services to mark the Jewish New Year.

The Rosh Hashanah services are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 7. The Yom Kippur services are scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m., followed by a “Ask the Rabbi” discussion session at 3 p.m. The group will also hold a Yizkor and concluding service from 4-7 p.m. on Sept. 16, after which they will break the fast.

All services are set to be held at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Lihu’e. For more information call Marty Kahn at 822-5281.
