A record-breaking feat – Niumalu Canoe Club, sponsored by Smith Chiropractic of Kapa’a, zooms along the Na Pali Coast in their boat, provided by Aloha Canvas, on the way to a record-breaking afternoon at the Na Pali Challenge on Saturday. Team Niumalu finished the 35-mile co-ed race in 4 hours and 22 minutes, which beat the record by nearly 1 hour. The 12 team members (6 women, 6 men) are: Devon Hudson, Gordon Lett, Jeff Griffin, Leroy Jumper, Hirolito Pricena, Tom Grube.
