Na Kolohe, KFD and Custom Limo each pull out HGEA softball wins

LIHUE – The Na Kolohe, KFD and Custom Limo each pulled out wins Tuesday in another series of HGEA softball games.

Na Kolohe 11, Hard Knocks 9

Scott Kouchi knocked in four RBIs to lead the Na Kolohe to an 11-9 win over the Hard Knocks.

Norman Holt, Jr. took the win for the Na Kolohe; Dan Fort took the loss.

Big Hitters for Na Kolohe: Kouchi hit a single and a double with his four RBIs; Holt, Jr. had a single and double; Tyrus Matsumoto notched one single, one double and one RBI.

Big Hitters for the Hard Knocks: Corey Rego had three singles and one RBI; Bryson Ponce had two singles and one RBI; Damien McCallum had one single, one triple and one RBI; Danny Oliveira had two singles.

KFD 10, Rainbow Sports 6

In the second game, Gregg Murashige allowed 12 hits and struck out two to lead KFD to a 10-6 win over Rainbow Sports Kauai.

Garrett Agena took the loss for Rainbow Sports Kauai.

Big Hitters for KFD: Corey Sakai had four hits and two RBIs; John Blaylock had two singles, one double and two RBIs; Mike Scovel and Mitchell Ikeda each had two singles and one RBI; David Bukoski had one double; Shawn Hosaka had three singles.

Big Hitters for Rainbow Sports: Hughes Ebinger, Jr. had two singles, two RBIs; Davis Oshiro had two singles; Kelly Robinson had two singles.

Custom Limo 8, Nogi’s 2

Didi Ibia allowed just nine hits to lead Custom Limo to an 8-2 win over the Nogi’s.

Nelson Ochiro took the loss for the Nogi’s.

Big Hitters for Custom Limo: Derek Rapozo had two singles and three RBIs; Destry Carvalho had four singles and one RBI; Sam Dias had three singles; Sia Salausa had two singles; Lambert Alapai had one single, one double. For the Nogi’s, Wesley Padador and Mel Yamase each had two singles, Gordon Tamura had two hits and one RBI.
