A memorial service has been scheduled for Rev. B. Ross Cleeland of Kalaheo who died on June 29, 2002, at the age of 90.
A retired minister for the Presbyterian Church and the United Church of Christ, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Sylvia L. Cleeland.
He is survived by two sons, Byron “Hokulani” Cleeland of Kalaheo, Kaua’i, and Gene (Camille) Cleeland of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
An aloha-attire memorial service will be hosted by the Kaua’i Association of the United Chruch of Christ at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Lihu’e Christian Church on Kress Street.
In lieu of flowers or monetary gifts, donations may be made to a local church or favorite charity. For all who wish to stay for fellowship after the service, a potluck supper will be held in the church social hall.
Leticia Pascual
Leticia Pascual of Koloa, Kaua’i, died July 26, 2002, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 66.
A housekeeping employee, she was born Dec. 14, 1935, in the Philippines.
She is survived by her husband: Edralin Pascual of Koloa; one daughter; Karen (Robert) Dall of Honolulu; two sons: Reynald (Jennifer) Pascual of Koloa and Erwin Pascual of Koloa; two grandchildren; five sisters: Mercy (Expedito) Padua, Hillari (Noel) Papa, Esther (Roger) Lagpacan and Cathy Gnecco, all of California and Victoria (John) Graf of London, England; two brothers: Benny Valentin and Pedro Valentin, both of the Philippines and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. with cremation to follow.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary.

Peter Atad Limos of Kapa’a, died July 23, 2002, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 55.
Born April 12, 1947, he is survived by his wife: Emilia Limos of Kapa’a; two daughters: Jenille Limos and Sheenell Limos; one granddaughter; four sisters: Maunalisa Limos, Prudence (Peter) Anich, Leonila (Bob) Green, Marilyn (Scott) Miller; four brothers: Twin brother: Paul Limos, John (Tessie) Limos, George (Pricilla) Limos and James Limos.
Family and friends may call on Friday, Aug. 2, at Borthwick Mortuary in Koloa, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Lihue Baptist Church from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetery.

Arthur Costa Rita, Jr.
Arthur Costa Rita, Jr. of Kekaha, Kaua’i, died July 13, 2002, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 54.
A security guard at Pacific Missile Range Facility, he is survived by two sisters: Betty Lou and Darline M. Rita; two brothers: Patrick W. Rita, Sr. and Bernard S. Rita, Sr., six nieces, five nephews, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Friday, Aug. 2, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. where a prayer service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. by Father Keahi. Burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanappe.
