Throw the putter, curse the hole, stab the course Marshall with the 18th flag. These are likely reactions to a round of golf. Even if you feel you’ve never had a better outing, there’s always something to complain about, because there is always something about your game that needs improvement.
It’s time to turn to jbCodde. He isn’t going to hand out valium prescriptions. He won’t make you lie down on a couch and have you tell him why your latest links hazard has been resurfacing as nightmares. For that, you may need a therapist.
In a column he will write every Wednesday in TGI, jbCodde will give links nuts tips and tidbits about the game so that some of us might be able to avoid yanking the last strands of hair off our heads.
“Tee to Green” will share jbCodde’s experiences in working with top golfers. The column will also talk about the latest technology in golf equipment and the various facets of golf here on Kaua’i.
jbCodde has been playing golf for 55 years. He is a graduate of Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan, where he majored in liberal arts.
He opened the first Bob Toski Fitting Center on Oahu, which led to the opening of the Tee to Green Golf School, which Codde directed for 10 years.
Codde has been a resident of Kaua’i for 32 years.
Enjoy what Codde has to say about the ever-growing popularity of the game of golf. TGI urges its readers to email him with any questions or comments at tallstix@aloha.net
