Koloa Plantation Days Rodeo coming soon to CJM
The Kolo Plantation Days Rodeo will take place on Sunday, July 28, at the CJM Country Stables in Poipu.
The event, will begin at 11 a.m., will feature an array of rodeo action, including Bull Riding, Double Mugging, Team Roping, Wahine and Keiki Barrel Racing, Poo Wai U.
The rodeo is free to all who want to watch the action. Amenities include food and merchant booths.

Koloa Kalaheo Pop Warner sign ups
On Tuesday and Wednesday, July 16-17, from 5-6:30 p.m., football players ages 8-15 who reside anywhere from Kalaheo to Poipu are encouraged to sign up for the upcoming Pop Warner League.
All of these documents are needed upon registration: Birth Cirtificate, Medical Card, Physical/Consent, Report Card for 2001-2 school year, Medical History Report.
At the meetings, Fundraising Information will be discussed.

Summer Jr. Tennis and Swim Camp
The Kauai Coconut Beach Resort Tennis Club will be having its “Summer” Jr. Tennis and Swim Camp.” There are a few sessions available. Sessions begin on on Monday, July 30 and runs through Thursday, August 15. Camp days will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The hours for camp will be from 8:30 to noon. Assistant coaches from the University of Hawaii Warrior Football Coaching Staff will host a clinic on Kaua’i.

18th Arc of Kaua’i/CPB Golf Tournament
On Sunday, July 21, the Mokihana Golf Course at the Kaua’i Lagoons will be hosting its 18th Arc of Kaua’i/CPB Golf Tournament.
Registration time is at 7 a.m., the tournament will begin at 8 a.m.
The maximum handicap, before reduction, is 36 for Men, 40 for women.
The tourney format is Shotgun, Two-man team, Best Ball with 80 percent handicap.
Entry fee is $90 per player, which includes a banquet lunch buffet, cart and green fees.
Other options: Mulligans are $5 apiece (maximum 3), win a 31-inch TV Grand Prize Drawing, sponsored by Walmart. Team Jackpot: $5 per person, $10 per team. And Closest to Pin is $10 per person (for all 4 par 3’s) Cash Prizes for A.B. Women flights.
