The Girls 14-under match-up was led by Meiting Keopuhiwa and Darcie Allianic, who combined for 14 points for the Kaua’i Fire. Vania Singleterry led the Kapa’a 76ers scoring with seven points.
In the second game of the series, a 10-under showdown, Kalia Mayers bulldozed her way to 16 points to send the Eastside Warriors to a 33-16 win over the Blackhawks.
Cody Morden led the Blackhawks with eight points.
There were also two 10-under KYBA games played in Kalaheo on July 1.
IJondi Das and Kethleen Cadiente combined for 10 points to lead the Lihue Comets to a 17-16 win over the Waimea Lakers.
Jayme Jacinto scored 10 points for the Lakers.
In the second game, Jordan Kahawai scored 13 points to lead the Lihue and 1 TO A 42-20 win over the Westside Hornets.
Jondelle Acerat-Ipac, Breeann Coz-Abuan, Kayla Werner and Charlyn Ortiz each scored four points for the Hornets.
