This was the start of the 13th biennial Singlehanded TransPac sponsored by the Singlehanded Sailing Society. The boat in the lead as of the 9AM, June 25 report was ALCHERA, with only 478 miles left to the finish. The race ends at midnight on July 6. Any boat not arriving by then will be scored DNF (Did Not Finish).
