LIHU’E – Kauai Pop Warner Football League would like to notify all Kauai Pop Warner Participants of a new 2002 national ruling.
All participants in Cheer and Football at the time of registration must provide a birth certificate, registration form, Physical exam, and the child’s last report card.
Each participant that does not have all of his/her paper work completed will not be allowed to practice or participate until all paper work is complete.
All associations are now holding registration for our cheer and tackle season please call your association president for times and places of registration or call Yvette Nakaahiki at 335-0023 (Hanapepe Pop Warner President/Kauai Pop Warner League Vice President).
Registration open for North Shore, Koloa-Kalaheo

– North Shore Pop Warner Association is now taking registration for Tackle Football, Junior Peewee, Peewee and Midget Divisions and all Cheerleading Divisions. June 18, 3:30 – 6 p.m. at the Anahola Clubhouse. For more info, call Abe -635-6092 or Jay 823-0631.
– Koloa-Kalaheo Pop Warner Association will be holding registration for any interested football players between the ages of 8-15 that reside between Po’ipu and Lawa’i on Wednesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 20, 5-6:30 p.m. at the Koloa Ball Park Pavilion.
For those that have already registered, completed physicals, registration fees, and copies of birth certificates, medical cards and final report cards must be submitted.
For those that have not yet registered, forms can be obtained. As there is a limit of thirty five players on each team, those that submit completed forms first will be assured of a spot on the roster. Summer Jr. Tennis and Swim Camp
The Kauai Coconut Beach Resort Tennis Club will be having its “Summer” Jr. Tennis and Swim Camp..” There are a few sessions available. Sessions begin on Monday, July 1 throug Friday, July 20, and another starts on Monday, July 30 and runs through Thursday, August 15. Camp days will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The hours for camp will be from 8:30 to noon. Anyone interested, call 822-6670.
Off-road motorcycle Poker Run event
Kaua’i’s Off-Road Riders, a non-profit organization, will be holding an off-road motorcycle Poker Run event on Sunday, June 23, in Anahola.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. The event starts at 10 a.m. Participants should bring one gas container. For more information, call 8232-7283.
