Konishi and Lum-Tucker defeated Lisa Kawamoto and Sarah Peters of Lahainaluna 6-3, 6-0, to move on to the semi-final round.
Kapa’a’s Ed Roessler beat Waipahu’s Michael Calbero 6-4, 6-3, to move on to the 16s round, but lost to Moanalua’s Jamie Migia 0-6, 2-6 to get knocked out of finals contention.
Christopher Colacino and Jordan Kukino suffered the same fate in boys doubles, beating a Radford team 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, but falling in the 16s round to Kealakehe’s Kevin Yamauchi and Alex Matsuyama 3-6, 3-6.
Red Raider Rena Kido made it to the sweet 16 by defeating Waipahu’s Corazon Almazan 6-3, 6-2, but she fell 1-6, 0-6 to Julienne Yamamoto of Moanalua in the ensuing round.
