Adrienne “Addie” Carnes, 68, formerly of Kapa’a, Kaua’i died on April 15, 2002 in Lancaster, CA.
She is survived by Daughters: Gaye (Bobby) Flores of Kane’ohe; Susan (Chris) DeLius of Los Angeles; Cheryl (Tom) Hulgan of Lancaster, CA; Bobbi (Bob) Kelly of Dublin, CA: Sons: Fred (Debbie) Gayagas of Kane’ohe; Joseph (Chris) Carnes of Vallejo, CA; Mother Rose O. Deang of Fairfield, CA; Sisters: Carol Nagata of Las Vegas; Lorene Doelcher of Benicia, CA; Donna Lideros of Vacaville, CA; Brothers: Bob (Dolly) Mandap of Kapa’a and Pete Deang of Las Vegas.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society for Private Services and scattering of ashes off The Channel Islands, California. Date to be determined.
William Ebinger
William “Gary” Ebinger III of Hanama’ulu, died on April 12, 2002, at the age of 65.
Born in Hanama’ulu, on Jan. 27, 1937. He was a retired Auto Body Repairman with the Public Works Department of the County of Kaua’i. Upon retirement from the County he found that he had too much time on his hands and decided to work part time for Alamo Car Rental until 1999.
He is preceded in death by his wife”: Tina “Tinay” Ebinger. He is survived by their two daughters: Laurie (Clay, Jr.) Kelekoma and Suzanne Ebinger both of Hanama’ulu. They also have two grandsons: Preston Gary Ebinger and Clay “Keoni” Kelekoma III. He has one brother, Richard (Barbara) Ebinger of Wailua Homesteads.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, April 18, 6-9 p.m. at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Rosary at 7 p.m. And again on Friday, April 19, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kapaia from 9 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kaua’i Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua’i Mortuary.
Leoncia Cabinatan Cuyo
Leoncia “Lynn” Cabinatan Cuyo, of Ewa Beach in Honolulu died at her residence on April 7, 2002, at the age of 80.
A homemaker, she was born in the Philippines on March 30, 1920.
She is survived by five daughters: Beverly Hamamoto, Jean Redira, Janet Largusa, Doris Refamonte and Pearl Awana, and two sons: Ronald Refamonte and Thomas Refamonte.
Also surviving are brothers: Donicio (Don) Cabinatan, Galdino (Gal) Cabinatan and Antonia (Tony) Cabinatan and sisters: Bessie (Basillisa) Snively, Vicenta (Vicky) Paolillo, and Buena Canales.
There are 29 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, April 27, at Borthwick Kaua’i Mortuary chapel in Koloa from 8 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kaua’i Memorial Gardens.
