Aquilino Sagadraca Cadiz of Lihu’e, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, on March 30, 2002, at the age of 94.
Born in Corocor Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Jan. 4, 1908, he was a laborer.
He is survived by his wife: Brigida Cadiente Cadiz of Lihu’e; three sons: Eulalio (Ester) Cadiz of Kapa’a; Melecio (Cresencia) Cadiz of California; Irineo (Berna) Cadiz of O’ahu; five daughters: Veronica (Rudy) Racho Cachola of Lihu’e; Alfreda Cadiz Villa of Hanama’ulu; Trifonia Bolusan of O’ahu; Nena (Victor) Pescador of Lihu’e; Carmen (Rudy) Alcantara of Lihu’e; one sister: Lucena (Primitivo) Cadiz Coloma of California, 26 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 12, at Borthwick Chapel in Koloa from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Service officiated by Danny Sagadraca will begin at 7 p.m. Visitation is again scheduled for Saturday, April 13, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo from 8 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. by Father Keahi. Burial to follow at the Kaua’i Memorial Gardens in Lihu’e. Casual attire is suggested.

Yuri Shoho
Yuri Shoho of ‘Ele’ele, died at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home on April 1, 2002, at the age of 107.
Born in Yamaguchi, Japan on Feb. 25, 1895, she was an agriculture worker with Kaua’i Pine Co.
She is survived by five sons: Yasunobu (Margaret) Shoho of Kane’ohe, O’ahu; Haruto (Kay) Shoho of Mission Viejo, Calif.; Russell (Barbara) Shoho of Placentia, Calif.; Reynold (Joan) Shoho of Placentia, Calif.; Donald (Pearl) Shoho of Torrance, Calif.; five daughters: Hatsumi Nakagawa of ‘Ele’ele; Chizuko Shinseki of Lihu’e, Kaua’i; Yoshino (Harold) Tamaye of Kailua, O’ahu; Ann Yoshioka of Kailua, O’ahu; Ethel (Raymond) Matsuda of Las Vegas, Nev., 23 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Private services were held. Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
