Raymond Joseph Rapozo of Kapa’a, Kaua’i, died March 20, 2002, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 75.
A machinist for Lihu’e Plantation, he was born Sept. 12, 1926, in Kealia, Kaua’i.
He is survived by one daughter: Sandra (Alan) Palmeira of Kapa’a; five sons: Nolan (Deeann) Rapozo of Kapa’a, Steve (Diane) Rapozo of Lihu’e, David Rapozo and Dee Guaittrez of Anahola, Raymond (Dorina) Rapozo, Jr. of San Augustine, and Charles (Tina) Rapozo of Lihu’e; one sister: Winona (Sonny) Aona of O’ahu and one aunt: Olivia Kanae of O’ahu; 29 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 2, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa’a from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. where services will be celebrated at 5 p.m.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
