Chiyoko Okuhara
Chiyoko Okuhara of Makaweli, Kauai, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on Feb. 19, 2002 at the age of 84.
Born in Waimea, Kauai on Mar. 27, 1917, she is survived by son, Bert (Pauline) Okuhara of Honolulu; daughters, Winifred Yamashita of Honolulu, Oahu, Carolyn (Bob) Kato of Makaweli, Kauai and Faith (Tom) Suzuki of Hilo, Hawaii; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Kazuo Iwatate of Makaweli, Kauai and Yoshiake Iwatate of Los Angeles, Calif.; sisters, Yuriko Kimura of Makaweli, Kiyoko Miyao of Makaweli, Kauai, Fumie Kasahara of Honolulu, Oahu and Suzue Phillips of Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 6, at the Aloha Church in Lihue, followed by private interment. Casual attire is suggested and that flowers be omitted.

J. Albert Gnazzo of Lawai, Kauai, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Feb. 18, 2002 at the age of 88.
Born in Plainville, CT on July 10, 1913, he was a retired General Manager with General Electric in Connecticut.
He is survived by son, Stephen J. Gnazzo of Lawai, Kauai; daughters, Sandra (James) Salamone of New Hartford, CT. and Gail Gnazzo of Makawao, Hawaii; three grandchildren; brother, Almond Gnazzo; sisters, Sylvia Gnazzo and Alfie Kino. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or Plant A Tree.
