There will be an HYSA (Hawaii State Soccer Association)/ KSA (Kaua’i Soccer Association) coaches clinic from Friday, Jan. 25 through Sunday, Jan. 27, to help soccer coaches on Kaua’i obtain their E-Licenses.
The cost for the clinic is $50 per person.
The clinic will run from 5-10 p.m. on Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The West Kaua’i Youth Baseball league registration
The West Kauai Youth Baseball League will be holding registration for the upcoming 2002 baseball season for Mustang, Bronco & Pony Divisions.
The Koloa Youth Baseball Association will have registration on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 from 4:30 – 6:00 and on Feb. 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Kiddie Corner/Food Booth.
The Kalawai Youth Baseball Association will have registration on Jan. 29, 30, and 31 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
The Hanapepe Youth Baseball Association will be having registration on Jan. 29, 30, and 31 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Hanapepe Mustang Field, and on Feb. 1 at the same location.
The Waimea Youth Baseball Association will have registration from Jan. 28, 29, and 31 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Waimea Canyon Park Pavilion.
The Kekaha Youth Baseball Association will be holding registration from Jan. 28 and 29 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Kekaha Ballpark Bronco Field.
Mustang is ages 9 & 10, born between August 1, 1991 and July 31, 1993; Bronco is ages 11 & 12, born between August 1, 1989 and July 31, 1991, and Pony is ages 13 & 14, born between August 1, 1987 and July 31, 1989.
Bring three (3) copies of your child’s proof of birth and medical insurance.
Roller hockey sign-ups
Kaua’i’s lone roller hockey league will accept anyone ages 5 to 17, whether experienced or not, for the 2002 roller hockey season.
Registration is $30, and all practices and games will be at the Kapa’a rink starting in February thru May.

Poipu Kai Tennis Club meeting
A Captain’s Meeting for all Mixed League Captain’s will be at Po’ipu Kai Tennis Club on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m.
This is the deadline date for the initial roster.
Match schedules will be determined at this meeting. Mixed League season begins Feb. 3 – April 19, 2002. Winning teams of their division will advance to the state Sectional playoffs with other teams from around the state May 18-19, 2002 in the Po’ipu area. For more info, call Rosemary at 332-8127.
