The Lihue Blue beat the Anahola Sparks 34-21 in Girl’s Under-14 action played at the Kalaheo NC Gym. Ashley Belisario led the Blue with 13 points; Theresa Taylor notched 11 for the Sparks.
The Kaua’i Fire Raiders were led by Rachel Taira, who scored 10 points, in their victory of the Kuhio Motors 76ers. Michelle Toy scored four for the 76ers.
And the Westside Hornets defeated the Kauakani Supersonics 26-20, led by the efforts of Ranid Ortiz, who scored 12 points. Joanna Jacinto notched 9 for the Sonics.
The Lihue Lakers beat Kapa’a #1 46-17 on Saturday in the first of four games in Boys Under-12 action at Kilauea Neighbordhood Gym.
Jordon Cox and Treston Reed each scored 10 to lead the Lakers.
The Kalaheo Pistons 1 beat Kapa’a #2 35-24 in the second game. Tyrus Ceria-Lux had 15 points for the Pistons 1, Elijah Phillips and Mathew Miyahiro each notched five for Kapa’a #2.
In the third game on Saturday, the West Hornets beat Lihue and one 33-9, led by the scoring of Hornets’ Vincent Geronimo, who had eight. Teila Huni had three points for the Lihue and one.
Kilauea beat the Kalaheo Pistons 2 31-24 in the final game at Kilauea. Reggie Vigila notched 11 for the Pistons 2, Tyler Hadly knocked in 14 for Kilauea.
