More action in Youth Basketball, Tuesday night, which is reserved for Girls 14-under ballers.
The Anahola Sparks got a 10-point boost from Nohi Sugai, but the effort fell short as the Sparks fell prey to the Kaumakani Supersonics, 31-25 in the first game. Johanna Jacinto led the Sonics with 10 points.
The Lihue Blues got a 24-8 win over the Kaua’i Fire Raiders in the second game of the age-group season. Ashley Belasario notched seven for the Blues, Rachel Taira and Darcie Allianic combined for four points for the Fire Raiders.
The Westside took the third game over the Kuhio Motors 76ers, 29-22. Vania Singleterry scored six points for the 76ers and Natashia Defabian scored eight points for the Hornets.
