The Hawai’i Community Foundation, partnering with financial institutions and community groups, has established a fund to support the victims of Tuesday’s terrorist attacks.
Contributions to the September 11th Fund can be made at branches of American Savings Bank, Bank of Hawai’i, Bank of the Orient, Central Pacific Bank, Finance Factors, First Hawaiian Bank, Hawai’i National Bank and Territorial Savings.
“We are faced with a tragedy the likes of which we have never seen before. People want an opportunity to help in any way they can,” said Kelvin Taketa, president and chief executive officer of Hawai’i Community Foundation.
Checks payable to The September 11th Fund can be mailed to Hawai’i Community Foundation, Pioneer Plaza, 900 Fort St., Suite 1300, Honolulu, HI 96813.
