Adult summer league tennis continues on
Here are the results from the Adult Summer USA League Tennis action played June 18-24 at various spots around the island.
In women’s 4.0: Kamalii Mai Kaua’i defeated Aces Wild in three out of three matches on Sunday, June 24, at Hanalei Bay Resort Tennis Club. Kamalii Mai Kaua’i is the winner of this division.
In women’s 3.5: Sushi Blues won three out of five matches against Embassy Rackettes at Poipu Kai Tennis Club on Tuesday, June 19. Ikaika won four of five matches against InSPArations at Kaua’i Community College courts on Saturday, June 23. Ikaika has not lost, and currently holds the top position in this division.
In women’s 3.0: Wicked Wahines swept Lauhala Ladies in five of five matches at Poipu Kai on June 23. Le’ale’a won three of four matches against Ladies of the Court on June 24. Wicked Wahines has won all of its matches, and currently hold first place in this division.
In men’s 4.0: MIA defeated Tradewinds in three of five matches. The division is too close to call.
In men’s 3.5: WYSIWYG defeated Puhi Paint in three of five matches on June 23 at Hanapepe Tennis Courts. Puhi then rebounded on June 25 to sweep Peter Taylor’s Team in five of five matches at Poipu Kai. This division is also too close to call.
In men’s 3.0: Da Boyz beat the Savages in two of three matches on June 25 at Poipu Kai.
