Playoffs just a few weeks away for soccer league

The Kaua’i Soccer Association completed its eighth week of play Saturday, April 14. With the playoffs just a few of weeks away, teams are still jockeying for position.

Competition is especially fierce in the girls under-10 and girls under-12 division, where just a single game and three points separate the first- and second-place teams.

The girls under-10 division is most intense.

Five teams have at least 10 points, and the top three teams are divided by just five total. The Lihu’e Angels lead the group with six wins, one loss and one tie.
