William Carveiro
William Carveiro of Kalaheo, Kaua’i, died on March 19, 2001, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 86.
Born in California on March 9, 1915. He was a truck driver for Kaua’i Commercial with the sugar industry.
He is survived by two sons: Edward (Yvonne) Carveiro of Kalaheo and Charles (Claire) Carveiro of Kaumakani; three daughters: Janet Carveiro of Kalaheo, Isabelle (Steven) Tavares of Kalaheo and Mary Ann (Allen) Vander of Washington; two sisters: Helen C. Carters of California, Eleanor Blauser of Idaho, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, March 26, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo from 2 p.m. Mass to be celebrated at 4 p.m. by Father Keahi. Burial to follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua’i Mortuary.

Peter Owen Hostallero of Lawa’i, Kaua’i, died on March 20, 2001, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 46.
Born on O’ahu on Feb. 5, 1955, he was disabled.
He is survived by his son; Kawika Hostallero of O’ahu, father: Perfecto “Perry” Hostallero of O’ahu, two sisters: Pamela (Leo) Falasco of O’ahu, Caren (Keks) Kalua of Florida; two brothers: Cameron “Scott” (Linda) Hostallero of Florida and Chadwin Hostallero of Florida, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua’i Mortuary.
