Isayas Labendero Mandrial Sr. of Kapa’a, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Jan. 26, 2001, at the age of 86.
Born in the Philippines, on July 14, 1914, he was an Irrigation Supervisor with the Pineapple Industry.
He is survived by his son: Isayas F. Mandrial, Jr., two daughters: June Johnson and Christine Pardua, three brothers: Benjamin Mandrial, Domingo Laranio and Bacillio Laranio, two sisters: Susie Dela Ping and Bessie Largo, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Feb. 5, at Borthwick Kaua’i Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on to O’ahu at our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, in Wahiawa, from 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Sunset Memorial Park, Pearl City. Casual attire is suggested.
