22-year-old man Kapa`a man was arrested for family abuse and child
endangerment.
10:47 p.m. A Lihu’e man called to report another Lihu’e
man was “acting up.”

employees reported a male patron was causing problems in an inebriated
way.
2:55 a.m. A 20-year-old Kapa’a man was arrested for DUI at the
Olohena/Kahau Roads junction.
1:31 p.m. Even on Christmas. An
anonymous caller in the vicinity of the former Meadow Gold Dairy called to
report loose bovines.
4 p.m. Rescuers were called about an injured
hiker at the Hauakapiai Trail entrance.
6:36 p.m. A Kekaha woman
reported a golf ball hit her vehicle.
7:52 p.m. An anonymous caller
reported a man was assaulting a woman in a lot adjacent to the Haena
YMCA.

juveniles riding scooters in the Foodland parking lot in
Waipouli.
8:05 p.m. An anonymous female caller in Hanama’ulu reported
a man in his garage trying to hang himself with a chain.

anonymous male called to report two males fighting in front of Panda Gardens in
Waipouli.
10:30 p.m. An anonymous Hanapepe man called to report that
his neighbor’s radio was too loud.
11:54 p.m. An anonymous male called
to report vehicles drag racing at the new Puhi Industrial
Park.
