First Mayor Kusaka persuades us to support her “Visioning” process for the General Plan when, of course, it was designed to be the developer’s give-away she and her cronies envisioned all along.
Next she assured us that it really is necessary for her to travel more than any mayor on record – and bring her buddies on the county payroll along, too. Then she deftly pins the blame for the junk car problem she hasn’t been able to resolve on “transients” (read haoles).
Now she’s out to make us believe that the ugly, mountain view-blocking project known derisively in the community as Kusaka’s fort and the county Heiau is actually a “beautification effort” worthy of $4 million and the time of 1,000 people.
Amazing how she manages to pull all this off.
Maybe the Bush campaign will hire her to convince the public he really did win the election.
