November is turning the corner and running smack into December. You know what
that means: It’s time again for The Garden Island’s monthly wish list.
Without further ado, we wish:
* Some of the stores could have waited
for Thanksgiving (heck, even Halloween) to be over before setting up their
Christmas displays.
* For as little stress as possible during the buildup
to Christmas (see above).
* That nobody wanting to be inoculated against
the flu comes down with the bug before vaccine that prevents it – delayed
because of manufacturers’ problems – finally arrives on Kaua’i.
* That the
Koloa bypass road, which officials hoped would be in use before the PGA Grand
Slam of Golf last week, will be open before the next Grand Slam a year from
now.
