Kobayashi’s Korner

We didn’t spend much time at practice today [Thursday]. We handled it like any

other Thursday, just walking through and getting the things done we needed to.

The boys looked sharp, though, and were definitely excited.

Tomorrow we

leave the island at about 9:40 in the morning, I think. We’ll get over to the

hotel and check in, then have a walk through and some time to get ready for the

game. We’ll have a meal in there. Were the kids looking nervous today?

Probably, but it’s only natural, I think, to be nervous before a big game.

But our assistant coaches were working on getting them psychologically ready.

It is as important as being physically ready for a game of this size.

We’ll

be going with the same kind of offense we’ve been running all season. Hopefully

someone will step up.
