game, November 17 at Aloha Stadium. Here, comments from head coach Jon

After all, Waimea will now represent the entire island on the biggest prep
stage of the year.
Today we are going to go over both Wai’anae and
Kahuku. Saturday we came in and did our regular stuff, conditioning. We ran and
did our weight training. The boys did 15-20 sprints up a hill.
Then we
worked on a bunch of our alignments and formations.
Sunday, all of the
coaches met for five or six hours to watch film and to try and come up with a
game plan for each team (Wai’anae or Kahuku).
Today (Monday) we are going
to do a lot of running. We are going to condition our boys. We’re also going to
show the boys what the other teams are going to do.
Today we are going to
emphasize Wai’anae, work on their [Wai’anae’s] offense and defense. Then we’re
going to work our boys’ tails off with conditioning.
We’re going to lay off
the hitting today, though.
