Some day — and the sooner the better —no one will feel the need for conferences to encourage and promote the role of women in the financial world. The distaff side will simply be on an across-the-board par with men.
Some day — and the sooner the better —no one will feel the need for
conferences to encourage and promote the role of women in the financial world.
The distaff side will simply be on an across-the-board par with men. But until
then, events such as one planned for later this month on Kaua’i can help make
sure that women have their rightful place at the economic table.
The Kaua’i
Women’s Conference, scheduled for Oct. 21 at Holiday Inn Sunspree, is a joint
venture of Kaua’i County Committee on the Status of Women, Mayor Maryanne
Kusaka and the Mayor’s Youth Programs Office. The theme will be professional
development and personal growth, particularly as those missions apply to
economic issues and financial empowerment.
Speakers of international
renown, including one businesswoman who has conducted seminars in four
countries, will address the conference gathering on their own experiences on
the trail toward financial, business and personal success.
You go,
ladies.
