home while her daughter, 85-year-old Yuri Nakagawara looks on. On Tuesday,
Shoho was bidding aloha to a group from the county’s Agency on Elderly Affairs
who were hosting David Ishida, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Administration on Aging regional administrator, Anna Cwirko-Godycki, liason to
Hawai’i, as well as representatives from the state and county offices who
dropped in to pay the couple a visit during Ishida’s tour on Kaua’i. Other
stops included the Lihu’e Senior Center, the Lihu’e Theater Senior Housing and
the Wilcox Hospital Adult Day Care and Alzheimers Center.
