Kentaro KabazawaKentaro Kabazawa of Lihu’e, Kaua’i, formerly of of

Waimea, died at home on Sept. 18, 2000, at the age of 78.

Born in Waimea,

Kauai on Oct. 24, 1921, he was a retired Sales Representative with Waimea Dairy

and Meadow Gold.

He is survived by: his wife: Yoshie Kabazawa of Lihue,

Kauai; son: Jerry (Lynn) Kuboyama of Puhi, Kauai; two daughters: Verna (Harold)

Mikaru and Iris (Roy) Kabazawa, both of Honolulu, Oahu; four grandchildren; two

brothers: Kinjiro (Tomiko) Kabazawa of Kalaheo, Kauai and Kiyoshi (Flora)

Kabazawa of Honolulu, Oahu; three sisters: Carolyn (Kenneth) Omoto of

Honolulu, Oahu, Sadie (Richard) Doi of Hanapepe Hts., Kauai and Sumie Quiriault

of Las Vegas, Nev.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were private.

Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
