Hooray! The berm (the long pile of dirt) in Kilauea has come down. Someone
cared enough about the offensive injustice of it to do something, and now the
beautiful sight of our Kaua’i has been restored. Now, what do we have to
say or do to keep the Kealia/Donkey area from the current plan to pave over and
manicure it into an inaccessible suburban null space?
The berm issue proves
that just because someone legally “owns” land here, does not mean that person
can ruin it for the rest of us. But we have to stop the Kealia ruination right
now, because it is happening before our very eyes.
Can’t we save Kaua’i
from overdevelopment? Please?
