Elbow grease can make Hanama’ulu beautiful

Hanama’ulu residents have a golden opportunity to beautify their community. All

it takes is some teamwork and elbow grease.

The Hanama’ulu Beautification

Committee will meet tomorrow night at 7 in the Kalepa Village conference room

to discuss plans and build support for improving the unimproved area in front

of the 7-Eleven store in Hanama’ulu. Landscaping and a stone wall are proposed

as a way to give residents and visitors alike an attractive entryway to the

community.

The Ho’olokahi Project and corporate sponsors are funding the

work. The helping hands of proud Hanama’ulu folks will take care of the

rest.
