am very upset with the crime situation on Kauai. I live on the West side and
tonight heard of another( that adds up to 2 murders, 1 assault) female body
found dead. This started months ago. The police say they are ” doing
their best”, are understaffed etc. I think it’s time they started doing
their job. If they can’t handle it, get some people who can. I understand that
they called Honolulu Homicide for the body found today. Maybe together they can
solve these crimes.
I do not feel safe in my little community any more.
This isn’t Los Angeles or New York. We have a nice community here and up until
a few months ago, it was a safe place to walk on the beach. We do not feel safe
any more. Who is this person? or who are these people? The answer is not to
tell all females to stay in their houses and not walk or ride a bicycle or
enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian weather and scenery. I know there have been
assaults on the North Shore too.
Maybe we need a citizen vigilante group.
That’s a scary thought, isn’t it? Please….someone let us know what is going
on with these investigations. We all feel they have been forgotten about.
Maybe by tomorrow there will be some positive news concerning the body
found today. I hope so. Thank you for letting me vent some frustration and
anger.
