HONOLULU (AP) — Former University of Hawaii offensive lineman Kaulana Noa will
be sitting out this season on the St. Louis Rams’ bench.
The Rams placed
the rookie tackle on the injured reserve list Thursday. Noa underwent surgery
after breaking his left wrist last month.
Noa, who is from Honoka’a,
Hawaii, started 49 consecutive games for Hawaii before being chosen in the
fourth round of April’s National Football League draft.
In early July, he
signed a three-year, $1.1 million contract three weeks ago that included a
$291,000 bonus.
