LIHU`E – Public Works, Custom Limo, and Kathleen’s Glass were the latest
winners in the HGEA softball league in games played Thursday evening at
Isenberg Field.
Public Works 15, Na Kolohe 6
Steven Perreira had three
RBI on a pair of singles to lead Public Works to their 15-6 win over Na
Kolohe. Gordon Tamura also notched three RBI on a single.
Cory Adachi came
up with three singles with an RBI, Lance Akama tallied a pair of singles and a
double with an RBI, and Blaine Nakano had a single and a double with an RBI to
lead the Public Works who ended the outing with 15 hits for their 15
runs.
Aaron Uyeda had three RBI on a single and a triple to lead Na Kolohe
with Mike Soong picking up a homerun in the outing.
Royden Pablo and Norman
Holt, Jr. each paired singles.
Peter Ishibashi picked up the win for Public
Works with two walks and allowing ten hits while Norman Holt, Jr. suffered the
loss for Na Kolohe with eight walks on 15 hits.
Custom Limo 4, Hana Hou

Scott Kaui got the winning run for Custom Limo on his pair of singles
with Sia Salausa aiding the effort on an RBI on a pair of singles and a triple
in the 4-3 win over Hana Hou.
Randy Riggan led the Hana Hou performance
behind the plate with an RBI on a single and a double with Todd Yamase adding
an RBI on a pair of singles. Brenn Nakaahiki also paired singles in the
outing.
Blackie Viquela picked up the win on the mound for Custom Limo
allowing ten hits with a walk while Paris Resinto suffered the loss allowing
seven hits.
Kathleen’s Glass 13, Nogi’s 8
Kathleen’s Glass charged with
seven runs in the first inning enroute to a 13-8 win over Nogi’s.
Garrett
Agena, Galen Shigeta, and Lance Nakata combined on the hill for Kathleen’s to
allow a total of 12 Nogi’s hits with 3 walks, Agena hurling a perfect game for
the win.
Kyle Nakagawa suffered the loss with 15 hits and five
walks.
Lance Nakata ended the night with a pair of RBI on a pair of singles
for the Kathleen’s win with Vince Nitta coming up with a 3-run homer.
Kelly
Robinson had an RBI on a pair of singles with Royce Ijima, David Carveiro, and
Wendall Nonaka pairing singles.
Ronnie Matsumura led Nogi’s
behind-the-plate effort with a pair of RBI on three singles with Bryce Nakamura
and Mel Nishihara each coming up with an RBI on a pair of singles.
Glenn
Hadama paired singles in the outing.
