Ah New, but Ewa held on to take the win 5-4 behind a 3-run homer by catcher
Jacob Kaku to advance to the championship bracket over Kaneohe. Other games saw
Molokai beat Hilo 5-3 with Keoni Soares banging a 2-run HR for Hilo, and Aiea’s
Lance Powell coming up with a 2-run homer to lead the 5-1 win over Waipio.
Monday’s games will have Molokai meeting Aiea in a 4 p.m. contest at the New
Kapa`a Main Diamond.
