Floyd Sugimura, a graduate of Kaua`i High School and one of two June Bowlers
of the Month, has been bowling for 10 years with a current average of 176. He
enjoys boogie boarding, diving, fishing, golfing, and is the outgoing vice
president of KJOBP. He took first place in the 9-Tap at the Las Vegas
Nationals Bowling Tournament in 1998. He works at Joe’s on the Green and the
Beach House Restaurant.
Bryson Koerte, the other new Bowler of the Month,
is a junior at Kaua`i High School. He has bowled for five years with a current
average of 150. He enjoys basketball and going to the beach. He is employed at
the Lihu`e Bowling Center.
