Cooperative (KlUC) resigned for personal family reasons, effective June 30.
Heitman was commissioned by the National Rural Electrical Cooperative
Association (NRECA) to assist KIUC and Kaua’i Electric during the transition
period between now and when the sale is projected to close.
Both the NRECA
and the Cooperative Finance Corporation are aware of Dick’s resignation and
will be seeking a replacement as soon as possible. NRECA and CFC have already
identified appropriate replacement candidates, and interviews will begin this
weekend.
