Samuel Paulo KaleikiniSamuel Paulo Kaleikini, of Kapa’a, Kaua’i, died

at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 17, 2000, at the age of 79.

Born in

Kilauea, Kaua’i on March 20, 1921, he was a retired Lineman with Hawaiian Tel

and a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by: one niece:

Barbara Higa of Honolulu, O’ahu; three grand-nieces: Cynthia (Stanford)

Morinaka of Kapa’a, Kaua’i, Melanie (Michael) Otani of Puhi, Kaua’i, and Ann

Leimomi Ramson of Louisiana; grand-nephew: Darrel Jacobs of Kapa’a, Kaua’i;

and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit with

the family at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, at the Church of Jesus Christ of

Latter Day Saints, Kapa’a Ward; service officiated by Bishop Richard Sheldon

will begin at 11 a.m. Followed by burial at the Kaua’i Memorial Gardens.

Casual attire is suggested.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, May 22, at the

family residence at 8101 Kekaha Road for overnight visitation starting at 1

p.m. Services are scheduled on Tuesday, May 23, at the Kaua’i Veterans Cemetery

Pavilion in Hanapepe at 1 p.m. Burial will also be at the Veterans Cemetery

after the services at the pavilion.

Casual attire is suggested.
