17 & Under basketball update

KALAHEO—Boys & Girls Club’s Garret Danner outscored On Fire’s leading

scorer R.J. Pillos 23-22, but the effort was not good enough to overcome On

Fire’s torrid firepower as the Lihue team took the contest 83-62.

Joining

Danner in the double-digit column was Dahson Gonzales who picked up 20 points

on the night, while on the other side of the scorebook, On Fire had four

players in double digit performance—Pillos (22), Alec Reichle (19), Lionel

Tomacder (12), and Landon Labrador (10).

Jordan Dizon (17), Austin Alquiza

(13), and Nikko Naumu (10) paced the Waimea High team to their 61-54 win over

the Hanapepe Dream Team.

Joe Kamai was Dream Team’s high pointer with 16

points.
