Two former Hawaii stars get WNBA tryouts


— Former University of Hawaii women basketball stars Nani Cockett and BJ

Itoman are California-bound and WNBA tryouts.

They’ll be attending a

weekend camp conducted by the Los Angeles Sparks.

Itoman received her

invitation two months ago and Cockett got the call after the WNBA draft earlier

this week.
