She is survived by one son: Armando (Adelina) de Leon of the
Philippines; two daughters: Yolanda (Herman) Fabian of Hanama’ulu and Erlinda
(Rafael) Mescallado of the Philippines; two grandsons: Frederick and Marcus
Fabian of Hanama’ulu; 15 grandchildren in the Philippines; numerous great
grandchildren and cousins.
Friends and family may call on Friday, April 7,
at Immaculate Conception Church from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. where services will
be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Father Paul. Burial to follow at Kalapaki
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being
handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.

Kameso Ishida, of
Poipu, Kauai, died at home on March 27, 2000, at the age of 77.
Born in
Hanapepe, Kauai on Dec. 30, 1922, he was a retired Mechanic with Kauai
Commercial Co., and a member of Company L. 442nd Infantry Regiment
He is
survived by: his brother: Yuso (Lillian) Ishida of Hanapepe, Kauai; sisters:
Mitsuyo Furushima of Pearl City, Oahu and Hatsumi Okamoto of Kekaha, Kauai and
numerous nieces and nephews
Friends may visit with the family at 10 a.m. on
Saturday, April 8, at the West Kauai Hongwanji Mission in Waimea; service
officiated by Rev. Ikeda will begin at 11 a.m. followed by interment at the
Kauai Veterans Cemetery at Hanapepe.
Casual attire is suggested and that
flowers be omitted. Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary,
Ltd.
Henry A. Fredricks
Henry A. Fredricks, of Corona Del Mar, Calif.,
and part-time Po’ipu resident, died March 12, 2000, at the age of 78.
The
owner and operator of his own building development company and partner in
C&F Farming Co., he was involved in and supported many organizations
including The Boys & Girls Club, Covenant House and Canyon Acres.
He is
survived by his wife, Milli, children: Bruce Fredricks, Cindy Ludington, Linda
O’Neill, Mark McLaughlin, and John McLaughlin, and five
grandchildren.
Services were held in Costa Mesa, Calif. in
March.
