– Two Kaua’i hoopsters: mentionHONOLULU — Two Kaua’i players — Enoch
McKeague and Brad Lum-Tucker — have been given honorable mention in the
Hawai’i Sports Network.com Fantastic 15 state basketball team.
McKeague of
Kapa’a, a guard with the St. Louis Schools Crusaders on O’ahu, just missed
cracking the the Top 15. He ended up 16th in voting.
McKeague was also a
starter on the state champion St. Louis football team.
Lum-Tucker, who
helped lead the Kaua’i High School Red Raiders to the Kaua’i Interscholastic
Federation championship and a berth in the state tournament, finished 23rd in
the voting.
– KTA monthly luncheon Friday
PUHI — The Kaua’i
Tennis Association will be holding its monthly luncheon this Friday from 12:30
to 2 p.m. at Gaylord’s upstairs dining room.
Brent Mukai of the USTA
Hawai’i Pacific Section will be the guest speaker. He plans to talk about
junior programs, tennis recreation and school programs.

is a $5 donation.

– Ragsdale wins in shuffleboard
WAIPOULI —
Ken Ragsdale beat Jerry Kearns in the finals to win the championship of a
recent shuffleboard tournament at the Mokihana of Kaua’i in
Waipouli.

Coconut Beach Resort will hold a Spring Break Junior Tennis and Swim Camp that
will run Monday, March 27 through Friday, March 31 from 8:30 am. to noon each
day.
