KALAPAKI BEACH — June Jones, who as head coach took a University of Hawai’i at
Manoa men’s football team that had gone 0-12 in 1998 to the Western Athletic
Conference championship in 1999, is the guest speaker at the first Kaua’i
Chamber of Commerce quarterly general membership meeting of the new
millennium.
The event is set for the ballroom of the Kaua’I Marriott Resort
& Beach Club here this Tuesday, March 7, with no-host cocktails and
registration from 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner.
