– KIF tennis to start Saturday
WAIMEA — The Kaua’i
Interscholastic Federation boys and girls tennis seasons start this Saturday at
9 a.m. at the Waimea High School courts.
The Kapa’a Warriors will visit the
Waimea Menehunes for varsity boys and girls matches.
On the following
Saturday at 9 a.m., the Kaua’i High Red Raiders boys and girls teams swing into
by hosting the Menehunes at the Spa & Tennis Club at Kaua’i
Lagoons.
– Bowlers to run youth drive
LIHU’E — The Kaua’i Junior
Olympic Bowling Program will be conducting a canned food and loose change drive
for the month of March.
The drive will help the Kaua’i Food Bank, according
to Judie Peace.
For the whole month, junior bowlers will be going
door-to-door collecting canned and non-perishable foods. Donations can also be
dropped off at the Lihu’e Bowling Center before April 21.
