– AYSO to hold coaches clinicThe American Youth Soccer Organization
Region 941 will be holding an advanced coaching clinic on Friday through
Sunday, March 3-5.
Alan Meeder, the director of Soccer Academy Soccer Camp
in California, will be the lead instructor. He has given coaching courses in 30
states and has certified over 5,000 coaches. He has also served as the soccer
advisor on a film with Pele.
AYSO Region 940 and 941 intermediate certified
or higher and USSF D and E or higher licensed coaches are eligible to receive
the AYSO advanced certification from this course. Other coaches are welcome
regardless of certification level on a space available basis.

KALAHEO — American Youth Soccer Region 940 will hold tryouts for a
Boys Under-19 team for the upcoming Kirk Banks tournament on O’ahu.
The
tryouts will be held this Saturday at Kalawai Park at noon.
The Kirk Banks
tournament starts late this month and continues into early March at Kapiolani
Park in Honolulu.
