1999, at the age of 99.
Born in Koloa, Kauai on Sept. 9, 1900, he was a
retired Purchasing Agent with Lihue Sugar Plantation.
He is survived by:
his wife: Betty Tanabe of Lihue, Kauai; three sisters: Namiko (Mice) Yoshida of
Kapaa, Kauai, Sueko Yamasaki of Lihue, Kauai, and Tsutayo Saito of Lihue,
Kauai; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the
family at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, 2000 at the Lihue Hongwanji Mission; service
officiated by Rev. Yukiko Motoyoshi will begin at 10 a.m. followed by interment
at the Lihue Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested and flowers
omitted.
