I am not interested in where the Community College will be located.
My gripe is the statement made by Rep. Baptiste, “I lost my respect for those who voted for this action without given a chance to discuss the proposal”.
Definition of “respect” according to Websters’ Dictionary, Mr. Baptiste, is “high or special regard, esteem, honor etc..
To the people of Kauai, if you had a choice who would you respect Baptiste or the people listed below.
Dr. P. M. Cockett, General Practioner; Mr. Barton Nagato, Dept. of Education; UPW Union; HGEA, Union who endorsed you; Mr. Wallace Otsuka, Businessman; Mrs. Connie Curesma, School Teacher; Mr. Nobu Tamura, Commissioner State Contractor Board; Mr. Kato, State Economical Development; Mr. Kenneth Arashiro, Restaurateur.
You goofed, Rep. Baptiste, as far as RESPECT is concerned. You cannot be compared to them. Rep. Kunimura and Kawakami, do you agree with your colleague that you do not respect the above people? Rep. Baptiste how can you condemn them when you were not present at the final Discussion?
