A handful of wrestlers from the Kauai Interscholastic Federation placed at the Pa‘ani Challenge all-girls preseason wrestling tournament over the weekend at Punahou School in Honolulu. Waimea High School’s Shai-Lein Acosta placed second in the novice 132-pound weight class. In the same class, Kapaa High School’s Theresa Lindsey placed fifth. The class competed in a round robin bracket.
