Moses Lopez
Moses Lopez, 89, passed away on Dec. 1, 2018.
Born on Feb. 5, 1929, he was a retired heavy equipment operator and served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by wife Loretta Lopez and son Maurice Lopez.
He is survived by daughters Doreen (Buz) Vasper of Honolulu and Arlene (Tony) Caday of Kalaheo, grandchildren Larissa (Matt) Morgan, Marissa (Todd) Pickering, Brandee (Dave) Abreu, Alika (Chella) Vasper, Giselle (Brennen) Bucao and Joslyn (Kahonu) Wong, great-grandchildren Brayden Abreu, Taira Abreu, Jake Pickering, Keenan Texeira, Haylee Pickering, Kysen Bucao, AJ Vasper, Koa Wong, Eli Vasper, Keanu Wong, Jackson Morgan and Brensen Bucao, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 9 a.m., where services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire.

Pedro Redor Riopta
Pedro Redor Riopta, 94, of Hanamaulu, passed away at Wilcox Medical Center on Nov. 25, 2018. He was born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, on June 29, 1924, and retired from Lihue Plantation Company as a tractor operator.
He was preceded in death by wife Juliet Ellasos Riopta, parents Gavino and Maria Riopta, father-in-law Silverio Ellasos, mother-in-law Suzy Salvacion, sisters Isabel Abaya, Marcelina Riopta and Ceverina Riopta, brothers Angel Riopta, Castor Riopta, Ceferino Riopta and Domingo Riopta, and brother-in-law Jose Ragasa.
He is survived by son Peter (Esther) Riopta, grandchildren Brooke (Travis) Aguinaldo, Amber (Emerson) Amorin, Casie Riopta and Donovan Riopta, great-grandchildren Cainan Aguinaldo, Caitlyn Aguinaldo, Aryana Amorin, Alexia Amorin and Wana‘ao O‘ Kealoha Na‘ihe, brother Emidgio (Gloria) Riopta, sisters Alejandra Riopta and Jacinta Ragasa, sisters-in-law Violet and Veronica Riopta, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall, with viewing from 9 a.m. and services celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Jezlene Macadangdang Rualizo
Jezlene Macadangdang Rualizo, 15, of Lihue, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Nov. 24, 2018, at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children.
She was born on March 19, 2003, in Lihue, and was a student at Kauai High School.
She was preceded in death by grandfather Emiliano Macadangdang.
She is survived by parents Jessie Barit Rualizo and Lina Macadangdang Rualizo of Lihue, grandparents Vicente and Estrellita Rualizo of Lihue and Estrella Macadangdang of Koloa, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 22, at St. Raphael Church in Koloa from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
The family requests casual attire.

William ‘Wongie’ Wong Sr.
William “Wongie” Wong Sr., 93, of Hanamaulu, passed away at home on Dec. 6, 2018. He was born on Oahu on June 1, 1925, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and retired as a truck driver with Kauai Commericial.
He was preceded in death by parents Edward and Rose Wong Sr., brothers Edward, Jr., Albert, Herbert, George and Clarence Wong, and sister Dorothy Kalamau.
He is survived by wife Marjorie Wong, daughter Wanda Wong, sons William (Robin) Wong Jr., Stanley (Bambi) Wong, Harvey (Trisha) Wong and Byron Wong, 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue, with visitation from 9 a.m. and services celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

James Oliver Agee, 73, of Kalaheo, passed away at home on Dec. 6, 2018. Born in California on Aug. 28, 1945, he was a computer programmer.
He was preceded in death by parents James and Virginia Agee, and sister Susan Agee Rose.
He is survived by his loving partner Ratana Aornlamai, daughter Vindi (Grant) Wells, son Heath (Julia) Agee, grandchildren Erin Wells, Reyn Wells, Reese Wells, Jackson Agee and Sawyer Agee.
Private services will be held.

Dr. Stanwood Haruto Kanna, 61, of Kalaheo, passed away on Dec. 13, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Born on March 20, 1957, in Waimea, he was a dentist.
He was preceded in death by father George A. Kanna.
He is survived by wife Trish Kanna of Kalaheo, sons Audie (Brook) Bernardino of Hanapepe and Matthew Kanna of Kalaheo, daughter Audree (Jason Yoshida) Roman of Hanapepe, grandchildren Ayden Bernardino, Jordyn Roman and Maddox Bernardino, mother Carol Kanna, brothers Robert (Nancy) Kanna of Hanapepe and George (Sharlyn) Kanna of Kalaheo, sisters Crystal (Jeff) Egusa of Molokai, Lauren (Rick) Bundschuh of Koloa, Jacqueline (Ross Young) Kanna of Hanapepe and Holly (Steve) Araki of Mililani, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 22, at Hanapepe United Church of Christ from 8 to 9:45 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
